We on the penultimate sea day before we get into New York City on Thursday morning.

There are disembarkation luggage labels on a table near Guest Services and we hear the word ‘suitcase’ mentioned a few times in passing.

After a late breakfast in the Garden Cafe, Chris settles in The Atrium while I walk around parts of the ship I haven’t seen such as the salon and the gym.

Here is the salon price list:

So just like on land, women need to spend so much more than men on their hair care!

Here are a couple of pictures of the Pulse Fitness Center:

We head to Coco’s for some crepes as we are eating dinner later than usual.

Chris orders Crepes Suzette and I go for Dulce de Leche:

They were both let down by the poor quality of the crepes – the warm chocolate sauce and whipped cream combination on mine was very pleasing though.

We were both very tired so had a siesta before getting ready for the Cruisecritic Roll Call Farewell Dinner in The Manhattan Room. There were probably about 70 people attending and large tables had been put together in the middle of the room.

We sat opposite a couple from Chile and really enjoyed ourselves.

Here is the main menu:

For appetizers, Chris chose the Italian Beef Meatballs and I selected the Coconut Shrimp.

Chris loved the spicy sauce with his meatballs. My shrimp were pleasant.

For entrees, Chris chose the Grilled New York Strip Steak and I ordered the Braised Lamb Shank.

Chris loved the peppercorn sauce but the steak was a little too fatty for his liking. My lamb shank was very tasty but very small compared to other entrees and certainly a third of the size you get served on other lines.

The dessert menu arrived:

Chris predictably ordered the Chocolate Eclairs and I, after Chris asked some Americans what it meant, chose the Snickerdoodle Pound Cake.

The eclairs were good with real cream but I was disappointed in the blandness of my dessert.

There was also a special cake provided for the Cruisecritic dinner:

We spent the rest of the evening in the District Brewhouse and made it to last orders.

There was a fantastic view of a full moon from the ship:
